The primary plug of the drawer unit of the switchgear should be an elastic finger plug, with a silver plated surface to ensure good electrical contact between the extracted part and the cabinet body when there is an allowable positional deviation.

The door of the drawer unit of the switchgear is made of SMC flame-retardant insulation board. The valve should be able to automatically open and close with the insertion and extraction of the extraction component. During the maintenance of the switchgear, the interlock of the valve can be released. Except for maintenance, the live static contacts should be prevented from being exposed under any circumstances.

The extraction component of the switchgear drawer unit should be equipped with mechanical interlocking, and the circuit breaker or contactor should only be allowed to close and trip at the 'connection position' and 'test position'. When the circuit breaker or contactor is in the closed position, the extraction component should be prevented from moving to or from the 'connection position'.

To prevent misoperation, the withdrawable components of the switchgear adopt padlocks or other locking methods.

Drawers or fixed partition units should be designed according to standard modules, and for units of the same size, the extraction components should be interchangeable. Except for busbar faults, any drawer or fixed partition failure in the switchgear shall not affect the normal operation of other drawers or fixed partitions.

The secondary plug of the drawer unit should be a plug-in or aviation plug, with no less than 24 cores. At least 20% of the spare terminals should be left in the terminal block inside and outside the unit.

The main incoming line of the low-voltage switchgear adopts the busbar incoming line method, and the feeder cabinet adopts the cable outgoing line method. There are incoming circuit breakers, closing indicator lights, three-phase ammeters, and voltmeters installed on the incoming cabinet.
